craft corner deathmatch!!!
Oh my god. I found the BEST SHOW EVER! Yes, Craft Corner Deathmatch. Rock! On tonight's episode, the challenge against the Craft Lady of Steel was to make "Shmarbie" clothes with a certain theme.Dude! 90% of my childhood was spent making crazy Barbie clothes! We loved using the Darth Vader doll's black cape as a wrap dress a la Diane von Furstenburg. Don't even get me started on the piercings and hair dye jobs our Barbies had! Man, I so missed my calling... In the fashion industry... or the Barbie industry. Whatev.
Okay, so my girls from various B-more craft groups definitely need to get on this show.
Speaking of my crafty cohorts, check out this story in the Washington Post about a very talented crochet artist who used to attend our craft-ons, Ming-yi Sun.
